Mega Magic celebrates its 22 Year Anniversary!
It all started with a dream. I remember one of my first shows at Indigo Books when I was 16 years old (Yes- that’s me in the picture). It was such a BIG deal for me at the time. My career started performing at Birthday Parties, The Toronto Zoo and even selling Magic Tricks at Centre Island in High School. Fast forward 22 years and I’m still persuing my passion. I truly beleive that anything is possible with the right mindset and dedication. This industry is built on constant rejection and sacrifice but I’m so grateful that I never gave up.
The Crazy Reality of Tour Life!
December was absolutely crazy with 25 live shows, 16 flights and countless hours on the road. I performed shows in Salt Lake City, Delta Utah, Seattle, Calgary, Grand Prairie AB, Victoria BC, Toronto and a 2 week run of shows in Niagara Falls. With multiple shows in each city, they never seemed to land during the same time which meant that I was constantly flying back and forth across the country over a few weeks.
Here is a behind the scenes video of the reality of traveling for shows over a weekend. Showbiz isn’t all glam- it’s like running a marathon with many sleepless nights.
Imagine this…
I’m on stage at Casino Rama in front of 2,500 people. I bring up an enthusiastic volunteer, blindfolded with duct tape over my eyes, and ask him to color a picture. The problem? He doesn’t speak a word of English!
I give him a deck of cards and tell him to take one… but he throws the whole deck on the floor. Then, I ask him to color the hair of the drawing… and he starts coloring my head!
At that moment, I wasn’t sure if it would be a disaster—or the funniest moment of my career. By the end, the audience was in tears of laughter—and the trick still worked, somehow even better than I could have imagined!

Upcoming Theater Shows
I’m excited to announce a special Family Day performance at the beautiful First Ontario Performing Arts Centre on February 16. It’s my debut performance in St. Catherines and the show is selling fast.
Our Mind Kontrol show is also headling the Lively Arts Series near Long Island New York on February 28 at the Van Nostrand Theater.
